So Phase 2:

They got me a rental car to get to Gary, Indiana we where my trainer was going to meet me. They had me travel to Fayetteville, Arkansas to pick up one of they guys who passed their test the sameday that I did. We got to Gary at 1:30am, and all the bunkroom were filled. So, I ended up calling into see what to do. They booked us a room in a hotel near the terminal.
The next day, we hangout until about 1830. My trainer was right on time as he had said earlier that day.

Day 1:

We had a trip to pick up a new trailer in Lafayette, Indiana. It took longer than expected as all the roads were bad, due to weather conditions. He drove all day as weather was really bad. Made it back to Gary, and we finished our day.

 

I did! Thank you! He is just like me, in many ways. Real cool guy.

 

Ok, so I am going to have to cut this back every few days.

Day 2 & 3:

Drove close to 1000 miles already. Love this job. I've been doing a lot of logging. A few backs and truck-stop pull throughs. Picked up my first load. I was hoping I could deliver it to, but my hours don't permit it. Great start though! Be safe! -TenGears
