hess knows how to build a truck stop. big open space, parking for 200, 15 plus fuel islands. too bad there now sold to pilot.

loves and pilot? parking for 30, 6 fuel islands, cramped for space.

Where do you work? I can't recall any PFJ's with only 30 parking spots ... Loves, I can think of a few. Hess, now PFJ still sucks. I remember now why I don't bother with independents after the awful shower experience at a former Hess a few weeks ago ... old school "shower rooms"? No DEF at some of the pumps? WTF? So put me down as a "No" on the Pilots that are former Wilco/Hess locations

I've been to pfjs with less than 10 spots, all cramped 90 degree backs.

I just can't let a statement that seems to indicate all PFJ's are small, podunk truck stops, go unchallenged. I call BS on that as a driver who runs all 48, corners to corners and everything in between.

With the merging or boy-outs of all types of travel plazas. The big chain travel plazas have bought some small places with little parking accommodations. Look at the truckers Paradise in Houston,TX, and many others in bigger cities, or suburban areas. Some have lots that are dirt, and have pot holes so big, they'd swallow a truck.

i can think of two loves, and a pilot, whose parking lot isnt level, makeing us sleep at an angle. they know were going to be sleeping in the trucks, why is building a flat level parking lot so difficult? itsnot theyjust dont care.
