To make a long story short I made the mistake of Cosigning a truck loan for a relative, he quit paying the bill so it's my truck now. It's a 2012 F350 SRW 6' bed with the Powerstroke and 100K miles.
Never really given hot shot work a thought and curious how I can put this thing to work and make a profit at it. I'm already an O/O and my Pete is paid off so I could park it or have someone else drive it.
Looking for suggestions. Thanks!
Looking to put a 1 ton P/U to work, have questions

Also curious how those of you hauling RV's are doing?

I was fueling at the flying J and got to talking to a guy pulling campers out of Indiana. He said he does it to supplement his SS. He said he wasnt making very much to justify living out of and sleeping in the back seat of a truck and said he was wearing out his truck for very little profit. They won't even let him sleep in the campers , really felt sorry for the guy.

Why feel sorry for them. They are the ones who chose to haul the units for low rates....
not4hire, zx150, Ruthless and 1 other person Thank this. -
If your in Louisiana or Texas, try Acme Truck Lines. They do a lot of hauling for the oil & gas industry down here. If your around Florida, you can try pulling boats.
zx150 Thanks this. -
Or just sell the truck and chalk it up to a learning experience: don't mix blood and money.
RollingRecaps, ExOTR, not4hire and 2 others Thank this. -
Speaking of that. Anyone wanna buy a house in south Ga.. kinda the same deal
Ruthless Thanks this. -
There is no money in trucking. Sell the truck and move on.
zx150 Thanks this. -
Thanks for the info!
Definitely selling the truck. Just wanted to be sure that I'm not tossing away a good opportunity. -
