So you believe it's a suggestion huh,tell your dispatcher you're taking your ten in a different town 20 miles before their suggested stop and see how far that gets you.

 

Hey Patty I would just take the break and not actually tell anyone. Did they do this to you when you were at kb? It seems to be working out for Bakari with KB so all is good imo.

 

Here's a random thought - perhaps K&B has a propensity to "overmanage" underperforming drivers to avoid getting burned with a late load or missed appointment. It's one thing to have the "nobody tells me when to take my break" attitude, but it's another to get caught not making a delivery window. And I know certain truck drivers know how to manage their time impeccably, what about those who don't? You know, the ones that sit around at PFJ telling everyone how they're former Secret Service? @Bakari742 seems like he knows how to get it done, so they leave him alone to do his job. The merits of an employer have a lot to do with the employee...

 

Watching Abe "Run Hard Get Paid" Atallahs, AKA Sleepyhead video tells me everything I need to know about K&B. My kind of company. Do your job and you'll be fine. Spend your brake in the truck stop playing on YouTube or like Pintlehook said telling everyone that you're ex secret service and the company is gonna babysit you.....as they should.

If I didn't like sleeping in my own bed every night with weekends off I'd definitely give K&B a shot!
