I'm at home deadheaded 230 mi to the house. They pulled my load due to me being late. It was a critical load. So I decide to go home.

 

Yep that's the one. It really looked like he just pulled over and parked it there. Another Schneider put it in the median about a month ago in the rain probably a half mile from that spot. That driver's outcome wasn't as good though. And speaking of Conway/xpo like in your other pic... they won the moron of the day award barreling down snow shoe at 68 mph with class 1 placards. PA reduced the speed limit to 45 for the first 180 miles. Hell, even fedex was keeping it in the low 50's. Between the ice and doing what I do to stay out of packs it was a very long day.

 

Peru IN. Gallahan truck stop. everyone idling. Why? because its supposed to be -9 tonite....LOL

 

Home again. Week from Hell. Tuesday, my inverter caught fire because I tried to make a cup of noodles. Wednesday, lower radiator hose. Friday, ice skating through Kansas. Saturday, lost 2 trailer tires. I should have just laid down in the ditch somewhere and died. CaptainDaveG is a righteous dude. Stopped to check on me while I was roadside and gave me a soda. Thanks, buddy!

Former Wilco now a Pilot off of 95 in SC. Less than an hour from delivery tomorrow. Hoping rain passes during the night.

 

Nephi UT . .headed to slc and drop...then fly home for xmas..
