    If you plan on making money with this truck, you'll not only need lettering but also a DOT number, and that comes with all the recordkeeping requirements and the need for a fire extinguisher and warning triangles to be kept in the truck as well.

    The little green book spells it out. Read and understand then keep it in the cab of the truck. You might have to use it to show a cop where he's wrong. Be very diplomatic.
