I'm partial to Doc Martens. Too bad they aren't assembled in England anymore, but such is the way of things.

The most comfortable I have had are the John Deere 4604, they are a slip on with oil/slip resistant soles and they are waterproof. They are made by Dan Post boot co. for John Deere.
    Very Comfy, and light.
I have worn a couple other boots that were at least this comfortable but they were lace up and with some of the job sites we go to, my boots come off when muddy so lace ups are just too much work.

Last September my Red Wings were starting to leak. I spent two hours at Boot Barn, trying on everything. I finally chose a pair of Chippewa high top lace ups. After breaking them in I think they are the most comfortable boots I've had and I can climb precisely on and around my loads, almost like climbing boots I used to wear.
