They aren't getting me down. I know I made the right decision cause I heard from another driver I met in orientation and they pretty much did him the same way except he had to go to Texas on a greyhound to get his truck that was "all ready to go" and about 250 miles down the road the truck blew a head gasket!! He quit the next day.

Doesn't matter about the sign off sheet and their word, you're suppose to make sure truck is to your satisfaction.

Hope you do your homework on what truck and trailer you get and have a nest egg for repairs and such. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 25,000. Oops didn't know you needed that extra did ya

I figured it to be around 125-135k for truck, trailer, apportioned plates,insurance,etc,etc.. That amount includes about 5-7k for operating expenses, fuel, tires if needed, basic stuff.

My prediction.... Op well be back in 7 months whining about how he lost his lease because everyone lied to him....
I say 7 months, because he said 6 months before starting a lease, that gives him a full month before realizing the world sucks, and most people lie.
