That's why I didn't buy one!
-
Ok I guess I forgot about that.
-
Yeah, but how often would you need to buy a light? The LED lights should last 6-10 years.
Foxcover Thanks this. -
Not a problem if you always run newer equipment. But as equipment ages or the occasional, newer equipment failure. It would be a real pain in the butt trying to find that light on a long weekend in the middle of nowhere, with a good paying hot load on the trailer.
Think of the the worst case scenario's in this business, and plan for those.Ruthless Thanks this. -
Yep, the entire electrical system is guaranteed for ten years.
I don't think these will be problematic.
I talked to TMC at the beginning of the year, they have an equipment sales division which sells their used equipment.
They typically sell their flatbeds at ten years old which is exactly why I called them. I was hoping to pick up a used Revolution being as it was coming up on ten years since they came to market and I knew they bought a bunch. The guy laughed at me and said, I quote "we'll sell you plenty of 8-10 year old Benson's or any other brand, but we're probably going to keep those Revolution's another 10 years, we haven't so much as replaced a light bulb on them!" That's exactly what he said!
I guess I'll let y'all know in 2026HopeOverMope and whoopNride Thank this. -
In that case I'm sure you could buy the three lights for the back and keep them on the truck as spares, just in case the absolute worst happened lolHegemeister Thanks this.

I have a W-900 with a 53 ft lo-pro step that weights in at 36500...
-
Wow I been wanting a lo pro tri axle 53. I guess I better look close at weights. I had a w900 with the studio sleeper and pulling the same trailer I am now I was still on 31,850
-
I do fairly well with it even as heavy as I am I still make good money....keep in mind the heavier the load the more you spend on fuel...
