Hmmm,
A referral ferret trying to get mine. That would mean that I would be telling everyone to come to Western Express and mention my name right? ever read that in any of my postings?
I am a trucker, not an English teacher, so my writing doesn't need to be perfect. You spend any real time here? you read the postings and the comments? ever read something from someone that you just know is not true? ever get pissed when someone says something about the company you drive for?
The point of my post was very simple, if you have not worked for a company then don't post negative things or things you simply don't know if they are true and if you left with a chip on your shoulder, don't post about it because quite frankly no one really cares about why you have that chip on your shoulder.
What happens to one driver is not guaranteed to happen to another driver. If you got fired for doing something against company rules, is that going to impact my future at a company. If I com e on here and post a negative experience, do you really at the end of the day care? be honest.
If Your Not a Current Driver or Recently Departed Then You Have Nothing to Comment On

And yes, I am a driver for Western Express because I am already approved. My recruiter ran all the reports, got all the reference checks done, I am already hired. My wife has a health issue that requires surgery and I need to be home right now, to see that through.

Swagger,
I just read your comment about the second thing I said. I will agree, it was in bad taste to say that.swaggerjacker Thanks this. -
Wait! You've never worked a day in your life for western express but you are telling people not to comment if they haven't worked for WE? Hypocrisy much?Loose Leaf, MidWest_MacDaddy, KillingTime and 5 others Thank this.

I just left there yesterday. It was a swell company to work for.
I made a lot of money, and was always treated fair.
I'm only leaving because the navy seals called me back to active duty.
Try and get Vern for a dispatcher.
Good Luckswaggerjacker, MidWest_MacDaddy, Texas_hwy_287 and 4 others Thank this. -
If I want to say something negative I will and you can not stop me. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Loose Leaf and 51.50 Thank this. -
Yes the company is at fault. It shows the quality of their hiring practices. There is no such thing as an accident, there is always a reason. Oh, there was no scouring of the internet for those pics, they were all on one page google searchLoose Leaf, Coover, poppapump1332 and 1 other person Thank this.

Well then thank you for posting the pics. I disagree with you when you say their are no such things as accidents. Yes, I will agree about company hiring practices, to the extent of this. If the company checked a new drivers driving record and saw that they have a history of accidents or a drivers DAC states that a driver was terminated due to accidents and issues and they hire the person anyway, then yes by all means that is the companies fault and they play a good part in any accident, even if they were not driving.
If a driver has zero history of accidents and a clean record to boot, then the company is not at fault and if this driver has an accident, its just that, an accident, am not saying not at fault accident at all either.
As far as those pics, the driver going through the fast food lane was an idiot plain and simple. The driver in the pic where he/she was trying to make a U-turn in a somewhat tight confined space is a bad judge of space and is a chance taker.
The driver who's freight rolled off his flatbed was probably and accident waiting to happen at some point and probably should not be driving flatbed, although we don't know what caused the freight to roll. -
And just how does one tell???
Guess they need to run it past you first???

I love threads like these... LOL ... trying to tell a bunch of truckers what to do or say... never works out well... I get your intentions with this post but all it did was drag a bunch of folks into it that probably never have worked there to begin with, like myself ... LOL
Stay SafeLoose Leaf, Blackshack46, x1Heavy and 1 other person Thank this. -
Let the man do the l/p for 1.05 a mile hope he realizes that flats are slow first quarter of the year lucky if he'll get 2000miles per week but I forgot the recruiter told him how great it is smh. Some people have to just found out the hard way.Just do me a favor in three months and come back on here and describe your great experience.
Loose Leaf, Texas_hwy_287 and x1Heavy Thank this.
