I know what you mean about the high arch necks, Trailking makes one now and the Etnyres are that way. I have to pay attention to my fenders if I'm on a hump, one of out jobs right now has a pretty decent hump in the drive and I have to raise up if I'm loaded, that isn't a big deal per say but getting out and doing it in live traffic kinda sucks. Earlier this year I was pulling the 60 ton without the flip or jeep and went over a hump and flat spotted my right rear fender, still makes me mad when i see it.snowman_w900 and Oxbow Thank this.

How do the Fontaine's hold up?

Me personally, i like my 40 ton mechanical Fontaine. Im no genuis, but i like the way mine is built. Its a soild trailer, but then again thats mostly road use. I dont do much off roading in construction sites.Oxbow Thanks this.

I've got a 40 ton mechanical too, it's a great trailer. Real easy to detach. I do a fair bit in construction sites. So kinda sucks that it's a mechanical. Only high centered twice, both times I was able to raise the air bags on truck and trailer to get lose.snowman_w900 and Oxbow Thank this.

To the best of my knowledge JD they don't make that style.
I know they bought or set up a plant in MN (now closed) and they may have badged them Aspen, but I have never seen that style made by them. -
Yeah I have no idea, I know they had several and they swore by them. I looks at them and thought they looked like a decent trailer. I'm always thinking about the next step so to speak.snowman_w900 and Heavy Hammer Thank this.

I've been using a pacesetter recently and really like it. Pretty good Canadian company. Almost all the pictures on there I can tell the companies by the colour of the trailers lol
