Sounds like some backstrap and tenderloin are in order.
Lepton1, spyder7723 and mitrucker Thank this. -
From the sounds of it, you have a "Hamburger Helper" installed to mitigate damage. Did it do its job?
-
Hope the OP isn't lost in the bush looking for that return load.
vikingswen, 4mer trucker, ramblingman and 3 others Thank this. -
Note sure never tried it. I never stop for the road kill. The road was clear where I hit the two and you can still see the two flash frozen blood spots on the road. I think the last one probably made it clear into the tree line after a Western Star drove up it's butt at 100km/h.

Yes, the Magnum bumper did it's job again. It has taken one moose and three Caribou all around 60mp/h with no damage to hood. I lost a back up light bar two weeks ago and this time it pulled my fender flare off two bolts.
Dave_in_AZ, Knucklehead, brian991219 and 10 others Thank this. -
What kind of headlites are you using?
-
They are LEDs made by Speaker. I bought them in Alaska at the Truck Pro/ NAPA Traction store. They run about $350.00 each and work great. The only draw back they have is that they stay cold and will freeze over. The other day when I hit a bunch of ice fog I had to stop and scrap about an eight of an inch of ice off them. Stronger than seal beams too. Before I installed those I had to replace a seal beam on every trip since I had a rock go through.Dave_in_AZ, fargonaz, Wymon and 2 others Thank this.

If anyone ever came up with something to melt ice/snow off LED's that would really be the cat's ### right there.
ramblingman, Lepton1 and spyder7723 Thank this. -
