Your PSP will show only DOT roadside inspections that you have had and any DOT reportable accidents. Your DAC report is done by a private firm called Hire Right. Not all companies use DAC. If you have had an accident or incident and you do not provide it as requested on an employers application, you run the risk of being denied for employment, due to submitting a false application. Just because a company does not use DAC, does not mean that they will not report it to an inquiring employer.

Just look for a company that hires one based on their actual ability, and not some half- witted report generated by some know-it-all who has never seen the inside of a truck. You'll be better off

If this happens on private property, chances are it won't be documented on a govt site. I had a switcher back into my hood a year ago and that company and I settled with no govt interference.
That could be why it's not on a psp. -
PSP has nothing to do with the DAC.
PSP is the governments scorecard on your driving. If the government is not involved, it is not going to be noted.
DAC is a blacklist were an employer can load what ever BS he can come up with to spoil your employment record. Most the crap that gets loaded on their only shows up after your fired or quit, so any incident they have on you now may or may not show up until you leave the company.thejackal Thanks this. -
Well I applied to Werner's O/o program and I included my incident. Even if they didn't report it to anywhere I'm sure they have it documented on their records. If they say no to me being an o/o with them I'll see how long before they say I can join. If never than that'll suck but I know Werner drivers that have been in far worse incidents that are running o/o. Of course I'm sure they have more than 6 months behind them. We'll see in a few days I suppose.

If the OP has only this one incident then they will probably be just fine.
All carriers are required to attempt to contact all former employers over the last 3 years for their drivers qualifications file. If a company uses DAC and will report it to DAC why would they omit it from a direct inquiry? Any new company he applies to will almost certainly hear about the incident.
