I have zero experience with mechanical CAT's. Wish I did. My dream truck is a '86 359 with a 3408. Like the one in @Ozdriver's K100.

That was enjoyable. I think my back-up/stand-by truck will have a Cat. Some of the old Freightliners have them. Looking into it now. A really great video that was.

Haven't ever been around a V-12. Till my uncle bought Mabel I didn't know CAT made a 6 cylinder. Dad's is a 79 359 with a twin turbo 3408. Not compound true twins. It does ok I guess LMAO. Time is bumped up pretty good and it starts fine. Though it does smoke a little when it comes to life.
