This is America. You are employed "at will." That means you have the right to work or not work for a company. You cannot be compelled to work for anyone (child support not included). As to Oil prices. Oil is a renewable resource as oil it being produced every day. The sun shines and micro organisms convert that energy into solids. When the organism dies and shinks to the bottom of the ocean that process turns into oil. As long as the sun shines, we will have oil.
