The damage you photo'd should have been caught on yard inspection. The chips on the bumper, if caused by rocks while intransit, ain't much you can do.
Welcome to new Carhaul. And as said prior the hatchback edge chip, hopefully you had the dealer write as a 34-1 panel edge chip...warranty covers. If they wrote as 05-1 it's on you.

    Hammer166 and ralphbohm Thank this.

interesting posts. just found this blog.
We are a a 'dealer Transfer' operation and have a good rep as well as good customers, but they still car salespeople. We get some who claim for the headset on a unit with a high end stereo or entertainment pkge but that gets denied because its not transit damage. Pretty hard to tell what there is for extras if you dontn have a spec sheet.
Same old #### - whoever has it last gets to bend over and grab his ankles....

Delorean 001-1-1.jpg 1963 Studebaker Hawk Turbo. The shipper expects me to let him drive it onto the trailer. I tell him no, I'm responsible, I will drive it on and off or get another truck. I'm loading second, on the bottom. As I'm slowly crawling forward with him walking along side complaining when I get stopped he continues complaining. I thought to myself, I'm only responsible for the first $500 in damage so I punched it. Slammed into the trailer frame. At that point he just walked away. It was worth $500 not to hear any more of his ####

Wasn’t going to Nigeria. Was a lease return. Got it fixed for 800 and delivered no issue to an auction.

Sometimes it’s cheaper to fix it out of pocket vs going thru insurance. If your saying that’s what you did, Smart move. A buddy of mine was making a sharp turn and his trailers rear back up a bit and clipped a parked car. $2200 out of pocket and no insurance claim. Learned his lesson about how a trailer tracks.
