I have a Missouri cdl and I just found out that my driving privileges were revoked in Florida due to child support. Will this affect my cdl in Missouri? I do not have a Florida license but again my privileges have been revoked in that state.

May be bigger issues than your CDL. If you are far enough behind they will issue a bench warrant on you.

No warrant just a suspension due to five weeks of no payments due to changing careers

Check the MVR site for your current state. States sometimes have online portals to check your license status. Just an FYI, in Florida when you have a license related issue, the state essentially assigns your license number and posts into the record. In your case, the child support issue. I.e., if someone is convicted of certain criminal offenses a license revocation can apply and should the person not have an actual license they still log the events regardless.

Get in touch with the FL child support people and make arrangements to begin payments again. That should lift the suspension.

If you don't, you might find yourself at a scale house with no way out other than a taxi.
And no job, by the way.
You could even be arrested there and then and be in jail.

Most states are interconnected now, and it will follow to your current CDL status.
Don't take the chance that you might fall through the cracks.

You didn't think to contact the child support agency in FL ahead of time to let them know about your transition affecting your ability to pay?

This is good advice here. You should contact FL Child Support as they work with folks all the time. However, if u previously made an agreement to pay, then this may not be the quickest solution. Alternatively, you could contact the clerk of court in the ordering jurisdiction to see about contesting the suspension which potentially could delay the suspension. Bear in mind this will land you in front of the judge for an immediate hearing.

I am not sure your CDL will be suspended for a non traffic related offense like that. Florida law don't apply to Missouri. However there may be some kind of pact between the states though. For sure if there is a bench warrant out for you it might bite you at some point.
