I have a 2014 Peterbilt and we took off the spacers to drop the front a little and took it to park house Fontana to fix the caster on it but I have the worst ride I've ever expirince on a truck... My truck wonders a hole lot and my steering wheel is really loose I can't even look at my phone for a second because I'll end up in the other lane, I've took it back and told parkhouse that it needs more caster and they told me that the caster is fine, can someone please help me out here

How much weight is bearing on your front axle? Does your truck hop, shutter or shake? Vibrations.
Good luck. -
I can't see how removing the spacers would make your truck wander. I would be looking at everything that moves. U-joints , tie-rod ends , wheel bearings , king pins. Grab a hold of the steering shaft and see if you side to side free play. Sounds like something is worn out or out of adjustment.

I wonder some times too, wonder what the hell I'm doing here!
KillingTime Thanks this. -
I wasn't very mechanical when I started. I was blessed to have some of the help I got through the years. Old timers that forgot more than I am ever going to learn.

There is reasons they put those parts in to begin with. You took (spacers) out? If you are talking about the ones on top of the springs that the shocks mount to you did nothing for ride height. If you took (spacers) out from the bottom you should of got a truck with a (car haul) axle if that is what you do. In taking these (spacers) out they did not change the U bolts then you better start there as they will run out of threads before truly tight.

When you remove those bottom spacers, you changed the alignment AND the pitch of the driveline. If you don't have a vibration now, you soon will due to the u-joints wearing out. I have been there, done that. That's how I know. If you have a 2 or more inch spacer, just pick one up that is half of that. But you should have some kind of spacer in between. Also, there are wedges/shims in between. They should be put back the same way. As for alignment, any good alignment tech should of told you all this I just said. Try another shop. Bobs alignment in Victorville of the I- 15 and D St., is a good shop, short drive from funtuckty.

There is a reason so many old timers say ya can't point a Pete down the road. You just sorta gotta herd it down the road. Never had a Pete yet with road manners. Maybe there is some trick I never learned. Like putting your seat all the way on the floor and all the way back. Something like that. I've never been extremely impressed with a Pete.
