    @WiggleWagon @pattyj

    The biggest issue is a prime example of why you return the truck not just leave it somewhere!

    I know it especially if you don't tell your employer.Thing to do is like I said seek legal action if you the employee feels your boss done you wrong.Otherwise you're going to lose.I sued a carrier for wrongful termination,two days before the trial my former boss settled out of court.Believe me his lawyers tried real heard to get this case thrown out.Everytime stamped in big black letters request denied.

    14 k but my lawyers received half.I didn't sue for money though but for the satisfaction to finally get my boss for being a controlling illegal creep.So my sueing him was for all the drivers that drive for him at that time.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

    I don't get why the op would drive for someone like this in the first place? Wouldn't, shouldn't you check out an employer first? The employer will (or should) check you out....

    smells fishy......and it usually is.

    WAIT A MINUTE (what am i missing????)
    * Driver is telling us that he was forced to drive illegally, then was threaten with arrest and criminal charges because he wouldn't move AN ILLEGAL LOAD? ****Seriously....??? I would call the PD, and the highway Patrol myself and tell them exactly WTF this "scum-bag boss" is trying to do. That's called "extortion"----its illegal to co-orce someone to commit a violation of law." (civil, criminal or traffic). No ONE Should be forced to drive an illegal load !
