100% sure. No air loss. Truck sits at 60PSI with no air leaking anywhere.

Thanks, I guess I'll be replacing the governor before it dies completely

It can also be the air compressor is bad. Had dd15 it would only build up to 60 PSI but you put high RPM it will slowly build up to 120, put took foreverrrrr.

I was going to say fan clutch air leak but leaks like that don't normally fix themselves. Also not even sure if an M2 has that style of fan hub or if its a viscous clutch.

That would make sense since things like the suspension air ride, cab air ride, air seats, transmission, all the air "accessories" don't receive air until 60 psi. Once it drops to 60psi and the check valve closes there are no more air leaks.

    04 LowMax Thanks this.

Unloader valve on the compressor? Although in my case the air pressure went too high, not low. Varied from 80 psi to 150. The unloader valves were carboned up.

I didn't know this. Do all trucks have this check valve?
