I have severe PTSD and on meds for it. It was none of my companies visit so I didn't list anything and never had any problems. I know others on here also have PTSD. Some stuff is none of there business as long as you are competent driver. Now to cover my base I do have a letter from prescribing Dr that my conditions and meds will not restrict me in any time while driving anything up to a semi.

I have depression..

Don't listen to that roll tide crap. Follow the advice given above by Chinatown and others and you will be ok.memphisrains Thanks this.

Depression is considered a disorder not a disease. If somebody is really mentally ill like schizophrenic I'd imagine they'd be on disability and not looking for work.

Some dude just said he had severe ptsd and he is out here getting taken out by dolly handle. So call it what you want disease or disorder but the meds they take messes them up even worse. I would hate to be on a two lane when billy bob is having suicial thoughts and my lights are alittle to bright for him.
This is truly the worst line of work for a person battling depression. -
Here's a link of you think depression wouldn't interfere with somebodies cdl duties.
