I got no problem with suspending the CDL for nonpayment. If people would keep their kids off the dole, the government wouldn't be involved in collecting child support in the first place.

Seems like a stupid way to accomplish that though. Taking away the mans ability to work so he can make payments he can no longer make because he can't work.......
I was in IT for 20 years. That would be like taking away my right to work on computers because I didn't pay child support. One is not related in any way to the other. And now I'm far less likely to be able to make those payments because you took away the type of work I do. Sure, I can go work at Walmart instead of working on computers (or driving a truck) but that isn't going to help since I can't afford to live AND pay child support on Walmart wages.
I'm all about punishing someone for not paying for their child. This system just makes no sense. Of course, we are talking about government so logic is not always the norm.

My son is twenty years old and just had my granddaughter. His mother had him and four others with the total number of fathers including me is 4. Has been on section 8 all her life and welfare. And in jersey she even doesn't pay electricity... I miss four freaking weeks cuz of job change and they wanna take you out... lol...but thanks I got everything taken care of today I'm good to go...TROOPER to TRUCKER Thanks this.

I hear you and don't disagree with you in principle.
