Getting Rx prescriptions while OTR

The key to this is simple. You need a good relationship with your fleet manager. You also need a doctor that is flexible. Like I said in a previous post. I never made appointments. In my case my doctor also operated a walk in clinic and if he was busy I could see the PA that worked the walk in clinic do my labs and get my refills. I honestly never had a serious problem getting home when I needed to. I am not even sure what the purpose of this thread is?

 

I may sound dense with this post, but I fail to see ANY issue here what so ever.

1. Put in for hometime at least 1 day b4 appt.
2. Go home and see doctor
3. Go back to work
4. Repeat.

If you can't do that then the problem lies with 1 of 2 things.
1. You....Not able to insist that you go home on time.
2. The company itself.

If #2, go elsewhere.

 

Ask your doctor for refills and refill them at any walmart pharmacy around the country. I used to call in advance so the prescription would be ready by the time I got there. I don't have to do that now since I get loads going past my house every week now.

 

Nonsense. Many medications require constant blood checks and many managed conditions require you to be watched closely. Doesn't mean your not safe or qualified to drive.
