I constantly am battling myself over this question. On one side of the coin, the Volvo is so comfortable to drive. The layout is well designed for a driver. The tight turn radius has made me look pretty good at some of the places I've delivered, "No one else could back in there like that." It is a smooth ride, doesn't leak, and is quiet. The I-drive is the best auto running.
The other side? Double any repair bill. The electrical system seems to have a lot of gremlins in it. The headlights suck big fat donkey b#$%@. I had to paint the truck so I wouldn't be confused with the mafia, especially since I don't own any track suits.
I am always wondering if I should have gotten a beautiful pre-2000 Peterbilt. Love the look of those trucks. Every time I think about it, I chicken out because I think of the great ride in this Volvo. I almost bought a 2012 Peterbilt 587, but realized it was a lateral move and decided not to.tommymonza and nax Thank this. -
