So nice of you to do that. My wife won't. I'm in PA while my elderly, widowed mother lives in AZ. When she had cardiac arrest, I went out, saw how much help she could use, and brought it up to my wife. Answer?
A resounding "no".
If I want or need to help my mom long term, it basically means separation, and probably a divorce...

Hahahaha and wouldn't you know it my very last dispatch is SNAFU on a holiday weekend with no one answering phones. Been sitting 4 hours waiting for a turn n burn load. Automated system says call linehaul. Local and hub linehaul closed. Corporate not answering the "answer or die" number. Hub mgr not responding to txts. Got no trailer numbers, only a truck number that should have been here 4 hours ago.
Is that irony or what?passingthru69 Thanks this. -
Funny how that works out. You can always expect a parting "screw you".
miss elvee Thanks this. -
Hope all works out well for you. I'm adjusting to riding alone. My wife of 45 years passed on November 4th. She road with me full time for the last ten years or so. Kinda tough but life goes on.
