I also leased onto them a couple of years back. Was a pretty good fit. I bought my truck at Freightliner and didn't have the super high overhead the LP guys have.

Why is it that a company is always blamed by a wife/girlfriend when said husband/boyfriend was handed a contract to sign. Most of the ads for L/P's will tell you what the deductions are going to be per week before the key is even turned.
I figured I may have some luck but apparently every thread about a company such as Malone is all the same some star eyed person with dreams of owning a truck and not enough cash in the bank to buy their own so we go and lease purchase and then have to have our wife/girlfriend pitch a fit on a public forum about how our stupid decision didn't work out.
It's rather sad if a person asks me especially when a husband/boyfriend can't post their own gripe the better half has to do it for them. -

They tell you about the deductions but they dont tell you how much they steal out of every load.
That is the biggest problem. They dont show you the loadboard before you make a decision. You dont see how weak and cheap it is.
I dont even understand why would you bad mouth the people who had bad experience with crst malone. Cause that company is one of the most crooked company ever. They dont even let you get on the major loadboards, cause they get their loads from that and sell it to you cheaper.
I have my own company now and im doing van. Making way more out of 1 truck than doing flatbed with malone.
As i understand people who decides to join malone comes here and reads this thread. At the end either they think we were all stupid, thats why it didn't work out or they change their mind on joining.
I know there are drivers out there who shouldn't be an owner operator because of the lack of business mentality.
Also i know that this company should be banned cause there is no humanity, no honesty, no goodness. Just bunch of crooks stealing the dreams of every driver starts with them.JimmyWells Thanks this. -
From what I have read all over different leases the best ones seem to be where they have board to choose from. The ones that I seem to see fail is where drivers loads are controlled by the company.

For every smart and self sufficient trucker there are 50 know it all think they can re invent the wheel trucker too but soon in debt or bankruptakfisher Thanks this.

The best one (or more honest) would be the one that lets you use their mc# for finding loads thru good loadboards, not just company loadboard.

Well I don't really know which one has a bigger fail rate.But running of a load boards can be bad for some since it's human nature to be lazy it's up to you to find loads.and if you don't know how freight lanes work you can lose money fast.on the other hand a dispatch system for some will keep you running because the company has put you out of the decision making a dispatcher is responsible to keep you moving.TROOPER to TRUCKER Thanks this.
