Yeah take a hole saw and put a 2 inch hole in the door to feed it through.

By the way I saw this one time so I had to throw it in.

I let a so called ant man run my coax through the gap in the door where the seal is..Then he used a few stickys to hold the coax inplace..So after i got back from the bathroom he was already done..When he showed me(and was proud of his work)i said im not oayin for that crap work,i coulda done that...He said what do you expect for $40..I daid a decient to professional install...Just sittin in place i could geel the breeze comming through the door, pulled it all out and did it myself..He kicked me off the property cause i wouldnt pay him for it..
A cpl open and closes of the door and i woulda been rite back to why i came in in the 1st place..

I wonder if that 18 foot piece of cable has some sort of magical properties?

I've been told the 18 ft has something to do with SWR and it makes sense cause u loose power as electricity travels down a wire. It's hard to measure on short wires. Cause wires can cause resistance. As for the drilling a hole if the truck was mine I'd consider it but it's a company truck I doubt they'd approve.
