CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
The pilot of the plane that went missing after leaving Burke Lakefront Airport late Thursday night is believed to be John T. Fleming, the CEO of Superior Beverage Group in Columbus, according to sources close to him.
A source who was with Fleming Thursday night said Fleming's wife, his two sons, a neighbor and a neighbor’s child were also on board.
The plane left Burke Lakefront headed for Ohio State University around 10:57 p.m. Authorities said they received their last recorded transmission from the plane around 30 seconds after takeoff.
The Coast Guard said the plane can seat 11 people. They believe there were six people on board.
Weather in the area shows seas from 12-15 feet with winds around 30 knots. The water in the area is around 50 feet deep.
The Coast Guard is being assisted by a helicopter from Detroit and a plane from the Canadian Air Force. Coast Guard Cutter Bristol Bay is also assisting.

What I think is that you have the opportunity of a lifetime here! Anytime you can learn something it's great. Anything you learn is never wasted. And if you can do it on someone else's dime, it's even better!
I also think that a business degree is an excellent way to begin. You are an intelligent individual, with a lot of life experience behind you. This can only help you in whatever you decide to do. Going to school to learn the ins and outs of owning or running a business should stay with you, no matter what you decide to do. If you decide to own your own, then it will be hugely valuable to you. But even if you decide to work for someone else, it will give you insight into why they do, or don't do things.
AMEN! I've known a lot of social services folks over my years of law enforcement. I often thought that their job was much more difficult than mine was. (Not counting the "councillors" that "worked" with jail inmates, most of whom probably should have been behind bars themselves.)
The ones that I always respected though, were CPS/APS workers. Also victim advocates, which was just coming into vogue right before I retired.
Funny as all get out!G13Tomcat, Pintlehook and Mike2633 Thank this. -
I'd go to trade school and learn reefer units. Learn to be a trailer mechanic and reefer unit technician. Reefer units are complicated these days, not like several years ago.G13Tomcat, androidloyd and Mike2633 Thank this.

I could probably get in the shop at GFS, just start working doing tires and then move up to oil changes and then breaks and actually GFS sent two shop technicians to Thermo King school, this year.G13Tomcat, Pintlehook and Chinatown Thank this.

Trade school is a great idea. Most technical colleges offer better programs than universities these days.
G13Tomcat Thanks this.
