Back home in Daytona Beach, FL. Company owner says he might switch me out to a Pete 379. Been a while since I last drove a hood, but should make for a more comfortable ride.

I like this place. I can always get a spot (and not just cause it's Friday night), there's more space than most Pilots to set up and back in, and there's some decent food at the joint next door.

And I rolled in with one minute left on my 14. Which is better than one minute past my 14, which I may or may not have done in the past...

Apparently coffee and fried shrimp produce devastating gas
I crop dusted the soda aisle on my way to the bathroom to wash my face. A few minutes later, when I'm lathered up with a Santa Claus soap foam beard, I hear a bellow, "OH who the hell ####?!" "It was YOU, wasnt it?!" . This followed by an argument over who really did it and how that person was an ahole.

I was embarrassed.


I hid.

 

That. Is. Awesome!

 

used to love to do that in the grocery store isles.........you could get away from it pretty quickly and let some other poor soul walk into and laugh your arse off in the isle next to it. Bonus was when it was a woman with her husband and / or kids, because she would always blame them.....LOL. Women don't get the fart game at all....

back in the Good Life City just for tonight......then down to Orlando in the morning

I'd tell my wife, "Let's go to the next isle." She'd say she's not done looking. So I'd leave her there, and let some unsuspecting sap walk into the miasma filled stench. Of course, he's thinking my wife did it. Meanwhile, I'm in the next isle ready to lose it.

Indy OC. Had a load from Indy going too Bethel, Pa. Got to shipper and the were closed. Now, I'm stuck here. Nothing is worth taking. Oh well, life goes on. You can't win them all.

 

I like that Pilot. I've never had trouble finding parking at night there and it was actually designed right. Everyone flocks to the Hubbard and Girard truck stops. FYI They are building a new TruckWorld down the road on 76. Not sure when it'll be done but the fuel island is complete
