What part of AL? Does he have his CDL already and any experience? Sorry i couldn't read this whole thread.

 

Wiley sanders in Troy al hires new grads, and I think evergreen trans hires out of mobile also and hires new grads. And I think both are home weekly. There are also several intermodal companies down there with home daily options

Wiley Sanders don't see those guys to much up north here, they had an aging fleet of Kenworth's I'm sure they have some newer stuff now, I don't see them a whole lot, but they probably stay down south closer to home.

 

They don't run Northeast? My former son-in-law worked there and said it's a good company. That was a few years ago and he didn't mention "no northeast", but I didn't ask. He did lots of west coast produce hauling.

Benny Whitehead in Eufala, AL I see a lot of those truck down on I-10 where I run weekly. I don't think the trucks run but like 62 but equipment is always clean and looks top notch. And it is refer.
But i run through by their terminal quite a bit and he has local stuff hauling wood chips also.

 

Where at in Alabama? Calhoun Community College up near Decatur, AL has a reasonable CDL school. They teach and certify you all in one package! Then search out a company to work for!

EDIT: Sorry, I just got to the end of the thread and saw that he is in LA (Lower Alabama)... Decatur is a far piece for him to travel.
