I agree with "pay those guys more". They have a lot more issues to deal with up there than the rest of us, compensate them for it...

You can find a job in that area making just slightly less with more hometime without unloading and going into tight areas in places like Hartford, Syracuse, Buffalo, Albany & Boston... Those guys should be compensated more and Ashley has yet to figure that out why they can't find folks up there...

LTL drivers (tailgating and unloading) make more than the PTP (no touch) drivers... so that pretty much answers your question

Looking for any info on working for ADS.I have been offered a PTP position in Fresno CA. Just wondering if the driver's that have been with them see themselves retiring or at least staying for long term. Anyone have any info on the driving side on the West coast would be appreciated.Starting Orientation on 1/9/17. I have always been interested in working for (Stealth Black Team) Lol Plus starting pay per year not too shabby for no touch freight. Again looking for info for West Coast driver's.

Ummm I'm not sure lol... Trucks got APUs and lots of space. I guess I couldn't see a problem wit that, worth calling them and finding out

They get you home weekends, rarely do you stay out longer than 6-7days. They pay for a 34 on the road, they don't want to do that.

My dads been with them for almost 20 years, most drivers I know that drive for them have been there a while. So yes I would say guys retire from there. I have had the opportunity to go to work for them but I wanted local or LTL and all they had available was yard jockey or PTP out of ecru right now so I turned them down. I have great home time where I am now. So I'll stay here till ashley has more openings.
