will 6 months experience get me a better job?

Even if you made a thousand a week that is still company driver pay if you looked at what many of the carriers pay.I don't know why you newbies have to take such a gamble with absolutely no knowledge about your company or the industry.

 

Now you been here long enough to know the reason: they get to tell fellow truckers in the fuel line and tv lounges they "owned" a brand new Pete or freight liner but barely surviving.. I have no problem telling folks i'm a company driver and at one time a mega company driver as long as the money is coming in and hometime is there. No shame here
