Walmart actually issued a statement saying they are installing those in their trucks

As of now it's a pilot program only a couple of DC are using them in a couple trucks. Also they are testing both outward and driver facing. Not set in stone if driver facing will even be needed or used. I know that driver facing will meet a lot of resistance because it serves no purpose other than giving a lawyer more information to fight that driver was distracted by drinking coffee, or not checking his mirrors every 3 seconds and so on. Also met heavy resistance in grass roots meeting at our DC which currently is not part of the pilot program

Nope no terrible Tuesday I'm just fine thank you. I just don't think it was a good idea to submit to a hair follicle pre employment test when you illegally took a schedule 2 narcotic that wasn't prescribed to you. Because I offer that advice and trying to save someone from self incriminating themselves I'm spreading the plague?

Why isn't this obvious to us professionals, should we actually demand changes to stop crap drivers from getting into a cab?

How about really harsh punishment for people caught drunk like this - no more CDL for life.

All of this actually makes rail look good.

    drvrtech77 and SHOJim Thank this.

I think we resist extra laws and regulations designed to "make us safe" because that path is a legislative race to the bottom where more and more we all have to live according to rules designed for the worst people in society. It is pernicious incrementalism toward totalitarian government.

How is it to work for Walmart? If you are a safe driver with 12 years CDL, OTR experience and not even a ticket? just so tired of inconsistencies, looking for stability, is it good place to work?
