c&s dedicated Chester ny

    Been offered the job they told me 58 to 66k per year home daily weekends off. Been teaming with the wife for the last 2yrs she was also offered the same position. Does anybody know anything about this position nights and weekends off would be a big change.We have been with transco and its been good we would take a pay cut by going to j.b hunt but home more would be nice. 5k sign on but only 38pm can't figure out how they come to their numbers just don't know if it's true and 62 mph truck coming out of a 75mph truck might take some time to get used to.Does anyone know anything about this position. Thanks

    You will be unloading your own freight with an electric pallet jack to stop & shop stores throughout NYC. Usually 1 to 3 stops per truck. 12 hour days, lots of tight backing. If I had to work at C & S, that would be the best terminal though. Others include Nazareth PA, Windsor Locks CT, and one in MA that I know of. FYI- watch the low bridges....

    Don't take it !!

    That's a low daily mileage region and that rate per mile is atrocious!!

    You should be hourly on that account.... $18-25/hr at least...


    C&S are absolutely horrible..... HORRIBLE to deal with as well !!
