Finally got my call today to schedule my road test on january 25 at the sutherland dc. Just passed the roadtest in september for mebane, nc but had an issue come up shortly after so it didn't work out. Even though I've passed it once, this 3 week wait is going to be nerve racking. But at least it gives be time to brush up on my pretrip. And gives me a little time to drop some of this weight I gained over the holidays.
Walmart here I come!

Hey there NCdriver, I see that you are out of the sutherland dc and I was wondering what area do those drivers cover or run? I have my pretrip and road test on January 24th and hopefully I will be running out of sutherland also. Thanks in advance and be safe.

Well..........
After careful consideration and lots of conversations with my wife, I have decided to decline the job offer at the WM DC in Grove City, OH. I called the HR person yesterday and told them, she was kind of surprised.
Thanks to those of you who offered information and advice. It was helpful and I do appreciate it. Good luck to all the ones in the process and to the ones waiting to start.
Even though I ultimately did not accept the job, I am humbled that WM extended an offer to me, for which I am grateful. Fortunately, I have great job and I can continue on with that, to which it is something that I love to do. -
After delving into my health insurance today and the hundreds im now going to have to pay each months for my prescriptions you probably made the right decision. I'm beyond disgusted!

It was actually pretty easy. I just watched a youtube video and used the advice of the drivers on here to practice my pretrip and I aced that test. Then did the roadtest and did pretty well. Just ground the gears a couple times, because it had been awhile since I drove a stick, but he didn't say anything about that since I didn't do it excessively. Then did the backing test which was easy for me since I back up at least a dozen times a day at my current job. Just make sure you don't curb a tire on your roadtest and use your four ways, horn, and goal on your backing test.slim8006 Thanks this.
