Well to say that I suck at this forum thing would be a gross understatement. I have been on the job a little over 9 months, I'm averaging 2500-3000 + miles a week. They keep telling us it slow this time of year, but I've been running my tail off. I haul mostly motor oil and mineral oil from transformer sites for various power companies. Some anti-freeze as well. I like the work, though load planning is more to be desired in that it seems things change constantly with these folks, and it makes it hard to put together a good route plan and still make the appointment on time.

Pay is good and I'm to get a new, truck soon. Well I reckon that's about it for now, I'll try to do better at keeping current on here.

Also hoping ya'll had a good Thanksgiving.

I worked for me them for two weeks in the 80s.
The guy they sent me with to show me the ropes was such a miserable ashhat that I walked.
Plus, cleaning out at Dana and seeing the graveyard of wrecked trucks.
Tankers don't wreck like box trucks
The deadly chemicals I'd be breathing daily scared me too.
But mostly it was the jerk sitting next to me.

    Yes, that's one I'd like to find, my dad has a G, 70, and a 720 diesel.

So, I'm in Charlotte NC. I turned my trailer in for a wash and dry last night, so I can make a 0800 load appointment .5 miles away from the wash yard only to find out they didn't wash the trailer. Now not only will I be late, but it's going to make getting home today really tight.

    Rusty Trawler Thanks this.

So, I picked up my new office this past Monday, so far I like it, not quite as roomy as ole#120 but a much better built and riding truck.
