I have a broker that I did a load for back in September. All the paperwork was emailed the next day. 60 days later, still nothing. I emailed about payment status and got no response. Called a few weeks later and the guy said they never got it. I said they did, I emailed it to all 3 people that were CC'd as well. He said send it again. So I sent it to all 3 people again. Still no response. I'm tired of calling. I already reported him on ITS today and going to do it on DAT as well. Will that do anything? Should I contact his bond company again? I checked and everything is still active. It's only $700 but the amount doesn't matter, if he owed me $70 I'd be trying to get it as well.
Does reporting a broker on ITS/DAT do anything? Trying to get paid.

^^^^ What he said. And do post a review and DAT while you're at it. That won't necessarily get you paid (commenting on DAT about their lack of character) but it will warn others of the type of people they are.
Believe it or not people looking for loads DO read those reviews. I'm not going to book with some shady, scuzzy brokerage that has complaints for nonpayment or excessively late payment.
As a matter of fact, who is the brokerage and what is their MC # ? So those of us on here can be watchful to avoid them.SoCal Trucker, Ruthless, swaggerjacker and 1 other person Thank this. -
Posting reviews on bad actors helps steer business away from them hopefully helps put them out of business. Can't let these people get off scott free with no consequences.

Thanks guys, I'll see if the ITS reporting caught their attention and post the reviews on here and DAT once I get paid. It's a trucking company that's been around for about 4 years but they just also became brokers this summer so maybe that's not really working out for them.
