Where is your location so we know the hiring area you live in.
May as well be honest about the cell phone, it will be on your DAC report.
Don't lie about it because it will eventually show up and you'll be fired for falsifying a job application.

I used to be your neighbor; Tennessee is my home state.
    Try these:
    Big-M Transportation
    Wiley Sanders Truck Lines
    TransAm
    Paschall Truck Lines
I listed them in the order that, in my opinion, #1 down to #4.
Do the online applications, then tomorrow, call and say,"I'm checking on my job application."
Don't call before submitting the job applications.
    Keep us posted!

Fines and Penalties - Using a hand-held mobile phone while driving a CMV can result in driver disqualification. Penalties can be up to $2,750 for drivers and up to $11,000 for employers who allow or require drivers to use a hand-held communications device while driving.

    https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/driver-safety/distracted-driving/mobile-phone-restrictions-fact-sheet

What is the definition of using a mobile telephone?
The use of a hand-held mobile telephone means:

    • Using at least one hand to hold a mobile phone to make a call;
    • Dialing a mobile phone by pressing more than a single button; or
    • Reaching for a mobile phone in a manner that requires a driver to maneuver so that he or she is no longer in a seated driving position, restrained by a seat belt.

    Ooops and Bakari742 Thank this.

She was using Bluetooth and not using her hands. England must not have driver facing cameras. Some companies don't even allow Bluetooth.

For future reference do not answer any texts from anyone from the company with voice to text. Don't reply to any numbers you don't recognize either.

There are companies out there that do this to trap drivers.
