lol I figured that's what it was. It actually helps a lot to know that number. Thanks man. I'm not even slightly worried about it anymore. I think I'll have maybe 2 minutes of excessive overspeed for the year lol

That's what I'm saying. I said 5 minutes just for example but then got to thinking and I've only gotten dinged for it a few times and obviously slowed down. I don't have much need to be flying down hills. That 10 minutes is for IP drivers. For some reason parameters are always different between positions but still. On a similiar note, I was BSing at the plant the other day. Turns out not everyone can get their truck turned up. One driver was told he is too much of a risk. Which begs the question.. why keep him onboard if he's too much of a risk to go 3 mph faster? He's a warm body I guess.

That is ridiculous! God, I don't miss having to deal with that anymore.

Edit: forgot to post where I am at.

The flying J on 77 in viginia, just north of the NC border. Their boiler is broke so only 4 showers of of....alot are working. There are signs all over stating this. On the doors, on the driver podiums, but there is still a different driver whining about the wait time for a shower every time I walk by. Both cashiers look ready to quit and wouldn't blame them. I don't know how they can deal with 100's of truck drivers everyday. The first time I had to clean up because someone pooped in a shower, I'd Burn every truck in the parking lot down.
