Depends on you... I didn't like running teams, but you do make more than a company driver.
Solo has many benefits such as having "personal space" and better sleep.
My advice- If you actual enjoy time on your trainer's truck consider going team. -
It all depends what type of person you are. Only you could answer that. I couldn't do teams. Thats me. I'd think it'd be better starting out solo. That stranger in the bunk is one more thing to worry about when you are learning the ropes and can cause unnecessary stress. Unless of course the teammate has significant experience over you, then you can learn from them IF they actually do things right. I'd still rather be solo though.

CRST forces you to team drive after becoming a new driver with them, and pays you peanuts for it.
For me personally, I would get some experience before going team. I almost did it with a friend of mine, but he had a baby on the way and decided to go local. Good pay (with the right company) if you can sleep in a moving vehicle.Dansmite Thanks this. -
CRST is a trucking company that has mostly team drivers.Dansmite Thanks this.
