Quick Update:
Picked up a load out of the Mastronardi in Livonia, Michigan yesterday and dropped it at the Aldi's in Faribault, Minnesota (the temperate this morning was -8 degrees
). Then deadheaded 79 miles west to pick up a load at the Conagra in St. James, Minnesota and taking it to Greenfield, Indiana for Monday morning. Shoutout to the casey's gas station/Truckstop in St. James, Minnesota, they have 2 free showers for drivers, just bring your shampoo, slippers and a towel.

I think it's funny that guys can't figure out how to open the hood on a Volvo, while Mack guys can't figure out how to shut it lol. Go figure, considering one owns the other.
I had the hood up on my Mack at a truck stop last summer. I had just pulled ahead at the fuel island, and I was standing on one of my steers scrubbing all the bug guts off my windshield. A guy walked by and busted out laughing. I looked to see what he was carrying on about. He looked at me and said, "A Mack with the hood up, and all that is wrong with it is a dirty windshield. That's a first!"
