Steering problem

EWV: Can you clarify these two statements?

"shoukd have know when I had to bleed my truck last night right out of their shop and service at -20c."

How do you bleed your truck?

And:
"but we are reverie back to the shop in York NE"

Are they the ones that screwed up or the ones that fixed it right?

 

Thanks to Lyle H for asking, I was scratching my head over those too. Glad you got it fixed EWV. There is NO excuse for a mechanic to screw up u joints whether on the steering or driveline. I had a mechanic do that on a driveline u joint once. You don't have the ability to notice it like you do with the steering. U joint came apart at about 40 mph as I was getting up to highway speed with a load. It was pretty wild as the driveshaft started flailing around under there breaking whatever it hit. (It was # 3 joint right before front diff) Anyway glad you're back in business without serious incident happening.

 

Glad it is fixed too. starting off the new year with a steering failure is really not good.
