Estes does not hire felons.
All linehaul runs rebid once a year in December. I'm not sure how P&D works.
We have 3 linehaul categories, along with combo and P&D. Our linehaul is split into scheduled, extra and hub. Scheduled drivers bid yearly and work a 5 day schedule doing turns from their home terminal or laydown runs with a meet on the 5th day. Extra board drivers work 5 days on random runs throughout the system. Hub drivers generally run turns from their home terminal to a breakbulk where they usually work the dock. Scheduled and extras don't do dock work.
Linehaul drivers can move from scheduled to extra with no real change in seniority. Hub, Combo and P&D all maintain separate lists so drivers moving between any of those or to and from linehaul do not retain any seniority.
