Defiantly children have more ideals then an adult.. perhaps they lack understanding but defiantly vision more then what an adult can... Wish him luck and hope it works out for him.

I think it's a "stubborn" thing.
Give a kid a rubber mallet and an Abrams tank. Tell him/her he/she can't take it apart with a mallet. The'll have that b#### in a 1000 pieces in your front yard. Might take awhile...but it will happen.
Just because you told him/her it couldn't be done.

I think children are more open to exploration because their lack of experience hasn't given them any preconceived sense of limitation or failure. Adults approach a problem with an almost "preset" sense of what won't work and never explore those roads... thus perhaps missing paths that may shoot off of those errant roads.
A child, though, doesn't have that sense of limitation and goes into a problem whole-heartedly... exploring every nook and cranny to see where it leads them.
I saw it with my own kids when we were introduced to computers. The kids weren't afraid to press keys to see what happened... whereas we adults sat there very timidly with the thing. Guess who the computer experts are in our family! It's amazing what you can learn from your mistakes.
FullTruckerEffect Thanks this. -
This kid sounds like he's got a real clue! He's well on his way to being an innovator. Hopefully, his parents make sure he doesn't get screwed over on this.

That's because they don't have to pay for it. We go after something, remembering how much it costs, and don't want to "wreck" it.

I've stressed this to so many adults...it's unbelievable. Even my mom won't listen LOL.
Hit keys...crash PC...reboot or roll back. If all else fails...reformat, no big deal. You do actually learn something when this happens
Thank God (and Bill Gates) for Vista. It's almost idiot proof.Ducks Thanks this. -
Yep... you're absolutely correct! That's what makes us more timid... and children just don't have that sense yet.
Ever wonder why parents have so little time and money?

Children also have a very vivid imagination. If adults would use our imaginations and act upon our dreams then there is no telling what we could dream up.
Also, many great things came about from accidents.
Kudos for this child though.....hope he has his patent and his parents do what is right.
