wearing shorts in cooler weather ...

I was an enlisted man in the U.S. Army near Oklahoma City where it gets plenty hot. A Colonel was assigned to our unit as commanding officer. He was previously assigned somewhere overseas where khaki shorts were an authorized part of the U.S. military uniform. After wearing shorts to the office a few times, he was warned by higher headquarters that shorts were not authorized in the continental 48.

 

I hate that feeling
I wear flip flops or sandals until the snow sticks

 

i love wearing shorts, i will wear shorts year round, i dont care if its 0 degrees outside my legs never get cold........i think its the hair that provides a blanket lol

 

And here I thought I was the only one who did this. I cut it back to wearing long pants if it's below 40 because my legs started getting enflamed and red with pain. As much as I love wearing shorts, wearing them when it's below 40 will screw up your knees.

 

You may have seen me, I wear shorts all year long even when there is snow out.. Cold weather really don't get to me that bad. the short time I am out of the truck with shorts on hardly ever gets me cold.. A little chilled but not cold.

Our co policy is you can where anything when driving, but when you get out of the cab unless you are on one of our yards they want long pants and decent clothes, clean.
