If you do end up going, remember the following for Canada:
I think that's all the high points.
- 14 days logs required.
- Use Cycle 1; 70 hours / 7 days.
- 24 hours consecutive off-duty in the last 14 days.
- 36 hours is a reset.
- You can drive a maximum of 13 hours a day with 14 hours total on-duty in a 16 hour period (work shift). That is assuming you don't go north of the 60th Parallel, if so, you can drive longer, but let's keep it simple for now.
- 8 hours consecutive off-duty plus an additional 2 hours (that can be taken in periods of 30 minutes) per day.
- Include your start and end mileage on your logs.
- One trip inspection per 24 hours (Standard 13 Schedule 1); include location, time and odometer reading.

So there is a difference between passport card and full passport. Mine will involve multiple crossings and I need it just for the ability to enter Canada. I am not traveling anywhere else.

Great....thanks. Most of the loads are propane from Quebec. Occasionally a load to Manitoba, but I don't have any info on that.

Watch the cell phone use. If it's anything like when we travel down there, you're gonna get hosed... unless you have a travel plan.
tbdieseltrucking Thanks this. -

Minimal
Headset allowed..? That is all I use for talking on phone.

Minor point of order; you don't need a passport (or passport card, etc.) to enter Canada, but you do to enter/return to the U.S.

Limited on my right foot, or in the computer? Not that I need anymore than that hauling flammable gas.
