Ive been doing OTR flat for melton for coming up on 1.5 years, clean history, good shape, class a, tanker, hazmat, etc.

I've just gotten to the point where OTR and the lack of relationships has gotten to me sooner than i thought, otr was always to be a stepping stone.

Im just looking for something i can be home pretty much nightly, i dont mind physical work, im not greedy or delusional on starting pay, but im just looking to make a living and be home.

besides the normal GFS, Sysco, Cheney brothers, what else is there to look at thats a halfway decent company?

    darthanubis Thanks this.

    Try Beverage

With your resume you can land a bulk gig at coca cola (what I currently do)

This is the best time of year if you can get hired imo, it's nice and slow so you'll be able to learn how to get into certain places without feeling rushed

Gasoline tanker? That's local, or what about like Publix or working out of a grocery store DC or like Star Trailer Leasing or Penske or Xtra trailer lease or Ryder Truck Rental and Leasing working as a hiker.

Or what about Tow Truck or Heavy Wrecker?

darthanubis and Sho Nuff Thank this.

Publix is pretty much impossible to get a driving gig straight off the street. It goes by senority and they don't care if you have a CDL or not. Pretty much gotta work in warehouse for 5+ years to get close
