They won't loan money. That's the hard part about getting started here. The money is good though.
The fuel card discounts are .25 at pilot and flying j (plus 10 points a gallon until March) and the discount can range anywhere from .10 to .50 cents off at Loves. I started here at the end of march and love it here. It's not perfect by any means but you won't find one that is. I hope to see you guys there soon. I'll be on the yard this week getting a blower put on. If you see a Purple Freightliner Cascadia say hello. Good luck

I'm curious why you paid taxes on that bill, you should be exempt.

I was going to orientation this monday but I can't find either my ssn or birth certificate, so I'm spending another week at home while I get that. Sucks you have a week long class to attend to. Gods way of saying "go to Mercer"?

Ok. I'm half way therr to orientation. I was hoping scales would be closed but it looks like AR doesn't sleep. No name on my truck, no tag on my truck, all I have in temp insurance and a letter of intent to hire from Oakley. Does that sound right or is AR scales going to have fun with me?

    Hello everyone,
I have been reading this thread since june 2015, sure seem like a cool bunch of chaps replying here! It's been 20 years or better since I ran in the lower 48 states but sure had a good time doing it, I was running from Texas to Alaska for over 9 years.
I decided to buy another truck and maybe operate bulkers in the southern states, kinda burned out on all the winter driving and chaining up all the time....of course I say that now, but I will probably miss it.
ultimately I'd like to operate as a fleet owner and get out of these bouncing things in a few years.
does anyone know the policy for fleet owners? if that's an option I'd sure be willing to jump on board with this outfit. thanks in advance, I sure have enjoyed reading these posts thank you! ~B~
