Hey I was wondering if anyone could tell me a little more about Bolus. I've talked to the recruiter and got a green light for hire. Start at .41cpm and home a couple times a week with weekends off. I can't seem to find much about them on here all the information is outdated.

Bolus has been around for a looong time...I used to run with them out across PA and OH back in the day....Drivers were paid well enough I guess, as I never heard any driver's complain about them....The trucks were nothing to write home about, mostly Mack's if I recall with no extras...They were a regional type carrier that was running prior de-reg in '79 with established lanes.....That was back in the '80s though, can't tell you about now, but I still see them in No. NY & Ohio...

Thanks for the info every little bit helps. I live out of alot of companies hiring areas so I don't have many options available. Bolus is the best fit to get me home every week. I see their drivers in Cheektowaga alot, and the trucks do look like they've seen better days. I have noticed a few freightshakers recently but it's mostly old macks like you said. Mostly interested because they said they have a run that delivers 7 miles from my house 2-3 time a week.

Rgr that....I wish I could tell you more, but I will say this, any carrier that's been around as long as they have must be doing something right....

As in any company, the short haul divisions get the oldest and most worn out trucks. From what I've seen, Bolus is no exception. They do have some nicer, newer Cascadias, but those probably go to the guys running out to the midwest.

Run away, as far and fast as you can. Lots of checks bouncing and CS games with your money, It's been happening for years and will probably never change.

No, I know guys that have, it's always the same story, you have to pay tolls and wait forever to get paid, you have to cash your check for cash or risk it bouncing. It's been like that for years and won't change anytime soon.

Most legit carriers now use Ezpass, and I've personally seen Bolus use that lane in Ohio....You sayin the Ezpass is in the driver's name?....
