Go from Fuse box with inline fuse. or main cab power again with inline fuse

What extra lights did you add? Your 389 should be pre-wired for air cleaner lights, under cab lights, bumper pole lights and mirror turn signals. The air cleaner and under cab lights might require adding the switch if it was not installed at the factory, but that is plug and play. Add the correct Pete switch, add a fuse and they work. Mirror turn signals and the bumper light might require enabling them in the CECU with ESA software.

The right 2 rows of fuses in the panel by your clutch pedal are for add ons. On the cover, they give you a place to write in what you add. Those empty slots are pre-wired to a connection bar right behind the relays that are behind your speedo/tach panel. You'll find many empty plugs there. Add a fuse to an empty slot, see which one powers up and wire your switch to that. They are 2 wire plugs, 1 for fused power, the other is ground. You can get the correct plug from a Pete dealer, but many people just use insulated spade connectors. I believe they are wired for up to a 20 amp fuse, but use a fuse to no bigger than you need for the wiring/lights that you added.

Most Petes will come with spare switches already wired for up to 20 amps. If you have a spare switch that doesn't do anything, it's just a matter of hooking your lights to it and finding which fuse slot it's wired to so you can add the correct amp fuse.

I had Trailer aux cord and strobe lights wired to the top 3 spare switches on 389 peterbilt. They worked without a fuse? In the right side like you mentioned. But something happened tonight and I lost power to all 3. Is it possible there is an inline link somewhere else?

Did you. Heck all the fuses in the fuse box? If they are factory spare switches ,likely they are fused in the fuse box
